About Me

See TEDx talks: "The incredible promise of digital health" and "How to live longer, healthier and happier." One of the leading physicians in digital health innovation, Dr. Greenhill is adept at translating digital developments into meaningful advancements to help people live life well. She believes entrepreneurship and technology hold the answers to the greatest issues we face today, including in health care - where the increasing complexity leads to confusion and costs and a huge and growing gap between what is possible and what is happening. Alexandra has spent her entire career using innovation and technology to improve the lives of physicians and patients. After decades of leadership roles in the healthcare system, she now leads Careteam Technologies. Sold as SaaS to healthcare organizations, pharma and insurance, the Careteam platform enables them to digitally empower clinicians, patients and their loved ones to accelerate the deployment of innovation and drive better experiences and outcomes - making the health "system" act as a system for a given disease or for entire integrated health systems. Always contributing to her communities, Alexandra has: - Served on many boards including CIHI. Vancouver Foundation, Canadian Society of Physician Leaders, the Canadian Institute for Child Health and was Chair of the BC Conseil Scolaire Francophone, a public school board with 37 schools, twice elected as a school trustee. - Been a mentor and a judge in many Hackathons and Startup Weekends and is a firm believer in paying it forward as acknowledgement for the great mentorship received along the way. - Received numerous awards, including only Canadian to be the Cartier Women's Initiative Award Laureate, WXN’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, YWCA Women of Distinction Award (Entrepreneurship), the BIV Top 40 under 40, Digital Health Canada's Women Leaders in Digital Health, Canadian Medical Association's Joule Innovation Award and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal of Service. Connect if you are working on something innovative and impactful - connections between interesting people who are interested in others across different domains and geographies is how the world evolves.
