We are hard-hitting. We always add value. We earn trust. We deliver. And best of all, our team is a wonderful tapestry of individuals who share some simple core values like integrity, passion, expertise, servant-leadership, equitability, relationship, fun and empowerment. We encompass something special that I am very proud of. I founded Groundswell in 2012 in hopes of providing a unique (and refreshing) delivery experience for our customers and employees. My personal mission then and now was to build an immense amount of trust with people: in follow through, competence, excellent deliverables, responsiveness, owning the problem when we make mistakes, diving in both feet when our customers make mistakes and enjoying the journey of accomplishing something incredible together. If we got this right, the rest would follow. To accomplish that, our hiring process was paramount. With the right people on board, who shared the same core values and held the same passion for technology, our possibilities were without limit. Our typical projects are not for the faint of heart, as they quite often push the boundaries of technology platforms. And our team actually thrives on it, as they conceptualize the next innovative solution. In my personal career, I have grown from technical consultant to architect to entrepreneur to CEO, and I have learned such an incredible amount in the process. My current focus is more on strategic planning, overall execution, and (precise) growth. (we hold tenaciously to our quality and core values as we increase in size). Since the company was first set in motion, I have also been honoured with another honorary title of “assistant builder”; specifically of train-tracks, lego towers and hand-tunnels. While I have no actual authority in this role, I participate with whole-hearted joy in every moment with my toddler :).
