Strong leaders continually enhance the performance of the business and the value of its people. They do it by identifying and nurturing the hidden value in both, and by rolling up their sleeves to get things done. For this reason, I strongly believe in making a deep investment in my team's growth and advancement. It inspires teamwork and top performance, and uncovers the hidden potential of your people. It encourages professionals to go beyond their comfort zone, to be creative, to develop new skills, and to take ownership of their success and that of the organization. Having a Computing Science background, I tend to think strategically and analytically. I am energized by the process of aligning the organization around a vision, defining a roadmap to achieve maturity in that vision, and - most importantly - delivering. Being able to define what success looks like, to prove progress, and to measure my team's impact to the business is how I know I have done my job. Over the past decade or so, I've come to view my technical background as one of my biggest strengths as a Marketer. It's what allows me to confidently speak to the ROI of my programs, to build strategic marketing plans that converge marketing channels, and to successfully launch and incubate new functions, programs and teams. It allows me to translate complex capabilities into compelling value that actually matters and makes sense to my customer. It keeps me honest, and reminds me every day to eliminate the fluff and deliver something useful. If it's difficult, it's probably valuable - and incredibly rewarding. I’m a firm believer in working on something that inspires you, in an environment that allows you to grow, and for a leadership team that you respect.
