Daniel Petrov

Daniel Studied Computer Science and Business at the University of Alberta. As an entrepreneurial visionary he infuses innovative concepts and technologies into business in both traditional and non-traditional ways. Daniel has founded a number of successful cannabis companies and currently works with industry related companies in Canada and globally. He is a co-founder of Aurora Cannabis (NYSE:ACB )/(TSX:ACB), one of Canada’s largest licensed cannabis producers, and held the position of Executive Vice President from early 2014 to late 2016. After stepping down from Aurora, Daniel worked as an independent consultant to the company on it's successful investment in Australia’s first licensed producer Cann Group Ltd (CAN:ASE) and it's $103.5M investment in Alcanna Inc (TSX:CLIQ). In January 2018, he founded Kiaro to pursue the opportunity of legal cannabis retail in Canada. In addition to his role as CEO of Kiaro, Daniel currently holds board positions with a handful of Canadian companies.
