I have 4 decades of years of experience as a management & IT consultant across different knowledge domains, consulting firms and countries. I worked for 10 years for one of the world’s largest consulting firms first as a foreign exchange expert and then I led their emerging IT Planning and Process Change practice in Western Canada. I founded my own consulting firm, TAP Solutions and grew this company from 3 people in 1990 to 120 people in 2001, with clients in Vancouver, Toronto, and New York. We specialized in IT Planning, Process Design & Change Management, Online Training Design and Development, and Custom IT Development. I also successfully developed a business plan, raised financing, and executed against plan to change TAP from a services company to a software products company selling reference data products in the securities industry. After that I was a Client Manager and Resource Director at KnowledgeTech Consulting Inc helping successfully grow this business in the areas of staffing augmentation, the healthcare industry, and enterprise CRM based on Microsoft. In the spring of 2010, I started another consulting firm called ITK Consulting Inc. focusing on providing staffing augmentation and MS based CRM solutions to a variety of clients. Most of the growth in this practice was in the areas of Dynamics 365. Office 365 and the Power Platform. II sold out of this business in early 2020 I have extensive experience in all major activities of running a consultancy: selection of the appropriate Business Model, Marketing, Business Development & Sales, Client & Project Management, Talent Management and Development, and Financial & Performance Management.
