An adventure trip to the Yukon in the mid 90's has resulted in a 25 year career in the mineral exploration industry. After spending numerous years learning mineral exploration and geology, I took on increasing responsibilities with one of Yukon's premier geological and engineering consulting companies (Archer, Cathro & Associates). While with this group I transitioned to a client public company as Manager of Corporate Communications and Development with roles that included First Nation relations, structuring companies, optioning properties, forming JV's and the outright sale of companies. In 2007, I took on the role of CEO at ATAC Resources Ltd., which at that time was a project generator. In 2010, we discovered high-grade Carlin-Type gold mineralization at ATAC's Rackla Gold Property, elevating the Company's profile and market cap to a level allowing us to raise approximately $100 million to explore the property. Recent years have been focused on continued exploration, First Nation agreements, road permitting and resource estimates.
