Ian B. McAvoy

Mr. McAvoy is the co-founder of VEMX Technologies Inc. and Volterra Technologies Inc. and is providing board and executive leadership for these ventures. He also provides strategic management consulting through EVIM Strategies LLC. His experience in EV focused start ups, corporate growth management, his global political connections as well as his enthusiastic interest in and knowledge of next generation eco friendly EV technology positions the company well as the ventures navigate a path to commercial success. Mr. McAvoy has founded several other companies in the green technology sector including the start-up venture Greenpower Industries that went public as Greenpower Motors and EV tech company Thomson Power. His leadership qualities bring a clear corporate vision coupled with high energy, drive, knowledge, intellect, passion and desire. He is an accomplished and articulate strategic thinker, negotiator and presenter and can explain complex issues in a simple and understandable way. Mr. McAvoy was educated in the United Kingdom and has spent the majority of his career in the Silicon Valley area of California. He currently splits his time between California and British Columbia and travels extensively to promote his business interests focused on electric vehicle optimization software management solutions incorporating data mining, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) based telemetry to connect electric vehicle performance and data to the cloud based management systems. These ventures coupled with big data aggregation will provide customers real time actionable insights and advisory on how to improve EV operations and maintenance and therefore reduce costs.
