JP has been solving design, communications, and marketing challenges for global brands like Energizer, Deloitte, Mattel, lululemon, and Fitbit over 30+ years. Along the way, he has successfully mastered Graphic design, television advertising production, and finally digital as a creator, strategic thinker and product specialist. His early years were as a 1st assistant director for TV commercials that pushed the edge of creativity for global brands, agencies, and production companies in the wild and rugged backdrop of British Columbia. JP worked to support agencies like Widen Kennedy, Ogilvy NY, Chait Day and production companies such as Ridley Scott's RSA Film's and ILM's Commercial division, ensuring that the awe-inspiring brand stories envisioned made it to the edit suite. In the late 2000's JP's work in social media strategy and product design led to a successful side-hustle in public speaking across Canada, as a weekly technology expert on Vancouver radio stations Roundhouse Radio and CKNW, and contributor to the Forbes and Globe and Mail. He was a founding board member of the industry-leading annual Vancouver UX Awards. The annual event rewards agencies and organizations that create digital products and services that bring only the best CX to the table. Creative problem solving, an instinct for "what's next," and a knack for understanding his clients' needs have garnered him a reputation in the business that is second to none.
