I am a strategic business leader and entrepreneur that has experience in all areas of business. My passion is leading, nurturing and growing a profitable business. I find it extremely satisfying to share the growth of a business with my team and continuously improve and learn through the process. My strengths are in leadership, business strategy, business development and team building. I was able to bootstrap my home based business and grow it into a profitable multi-million dollar company over 18 years. I have the ability to develop a clear corporate purpose and vision, establish critical core values, develop a plan and then execute with my team in operations, sales & marketing, human resources and finance. While building my business I used business coaches, sales coaches, accountability groups, peer bench marking, read many business books and attended many industry and leadership based conferences to improve my team, myself and the business. I love to learn, and believe in continuous improvement in business and in my personal life. I have learned how to be an empathetic leader and believe that "the largest cost to leadership is self interest". Some of my biggest lessons I learned were from my team members. I know how to lead and mentor, allow my team to learn and fail on their own, but ensure I provide the proper support for them to succeed in the end.
