After realization set in that I would not pay for the roof over my head as a novelist, I focused on identifying what I was good at and further, what the heck I wanted to do. Ever the people person, I received my degree in Human Resources in 1992 and set about changing the world! During my years in Human Resources, and after adding an additional degree in Adult Education, I focused on Learning and Organizational Development beginning in the Tech Sector then moving into other industries include B2C organizations. After leading Learning and OD for a number of years, it was time to strike out on my own. I began a small consulting company assisting organizations manage the human impact of Mergers & Acquisitions activities and grew my business to include managing the human impact for all initiatives with medium, large and government organizations. This allowed me to focus on SAP Enterprise Software and Crown Corporation in Canada. Further, I developed the Project Governance program (Eiffel) which is used to this day to government all SAP projects around the world. Having spent the better part of 20 years "Marketing", "Selling" and Communicating to internal employees, external public and government employees, I accepted a role in Aerospace & Defence first as a Engineering Project Manager and then as the Manager of Marketing & Communications with IMP Aerospace & Defence where I have been for the last 10 years. I sit on several boards, including the Aerospace, Defence and Security Expo (ADSE) and now The Reach Gallery and Museum in the City of Abbotsford.
