Lauren Gavrailoff

As a Global Product Manager, Lauren assumes ownership and leadership in key product portfolios to drive strategic innovation. Lauren leverages key relationships to define and validate global market trends and insights and builds internal and external networks for strong cross-functional collaboration. Her expertise in local & international markets, go-to-market strategy and clinical/product knowledge provides a foundation for high-level improvements in portfolio revenue, profit performance and long-term pipeline & campaign planning. Her commitment to design thinking driven by voice-of-customer and problem discovery helps her to create meaningful end-user impact, profound product story-telling, and support brand & revenue growth. Lauren graduated with Honors from the Master's of Rehabilitation Science (MRSc) program through the University of British Columbia (2018), and continues to hold a passion for market and medical research. As a major project she developed an expert consensus statement on weight-bearing protocols and orthosis prescription after knee articular cartilage injury with the help of 10 Orthopaedic Surgeons. She presented this research as a poster at the ICRS Summit in January 2019. Lauren has been practicing as a Certified Athletic Therapist since June 2011, and has been in the Sports Medicine field since September 2008. She graduated from the University of Manitoba - Athletic Therapy program with Honours in 2011 as class Valedictorian. In June 2013, Lauren completed the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, and in May 2015 became a Certified Pedorthic Technician. Lauren has had the pleasure of working with a number of high level organizations as an Athletic Therapist in her young career. These include the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football club, BC Lions Football Club, SFU Women's Rugby, Douglas College Women's and Men's basketball, SportMedBC, and University of Manitoba sports teams.
