As a passionate member of the Canadian mining community for over 30 years, I have had the great fortune to work with many talented and dedicated people on exceptional projects in the mining industry. Through Range Road Advisory, I provide consulting services in strategic planning and business operations to firms primarily within the mining and mineral exploration sectors. It has been a rewarding experience to assist other business leaders with the pressing matters related to their particular organization. Responsible corporate governance is also critical to the success of any business. I completed the Directors' Education Program to better understand best practices for corporate governance, allowing me to provide advice and guidance for boards of directors and executive teams. Outreach and education about responsible natural resource development, while reducing unnecessary red tape and attracting skilled workers, are also passions of mine. I give time and energy to several industry and related organizations, in addition to my consulting business, to contribute to building a healthy and vibrant natural resource sector. I am a firm believer that we can develop the bounty of Canada's natural resources in a responsible manner, providing family supporting jobs while finding the crucial balance between economic development and environmental stewardship.
