I am the Founder and CEO of Cellulotech, a material science company that can, to put it simply, transform paper into lotus leaves. Our breakthrough process treats cellulose-based materials and provides them with barriers to external elements (water, oil, oxygen and vapor) while preserving their repulpability, compostability and biodegradability properties. It can competitively replace plastic linings, waxes or harmful chemicals such as PFAS. Beyond the paper and packaging industry, this technology can be used to treat wood or textiles, and allows several industries to develop new sustainable and affordable products with the most abundant organic compound on earth: cellulose.
