Rumi Tejpar

As an athlete, I have competed in 13 different countries, 7 world championships, countless Canadian and USA Championships, and 2 Pan American Championships. Some I have won; some I have lost. I bring what I learnt while training and competing to my company: the fundamental ideas that you should focus on what you can control and that you can always improve. For the business, this means constantly improving the product, service, and how we interact with our environment and society. As the years have gone by, I have realized that comprehensive stakeholder improvement, meaning the shareholders’, clients’, employees’, and communities', needs to be central to the business. As we have woven that into how we do business at BE, I have come to believe that it is this core tenet that drives meaningful and sustainable business.
