Currently working as CEO of TAG Oil, a producing oil and gas company with operations onshore New Zealand and Australia. I also am a Non Executive Director of several natural resource focused companies, shell companies and a FinTech company. Previously, I worked on various oil and mining start-ups and as part of a private group that specialized in natural resource investments. Prior to my advisory role I was a senior institutional research analyst covering small to medium cap international oil and gas stocks for Tristone Capital and GMP Securities from 2005-2012. Moved from Calgary, Canada to London, England in June ('06). Worked as a geologist for eight years (5 years oil and gas - 3 years mining) prior to completing an MBA and joining Tristone.
