Hill Top Diner
In Langley, BC V2Z 2K8About Me
providing a memorable dining experience with good, old-fashioned, home cooking. In 1946 the Hilltop Diner Café was built alongside the five year old Highway 1A – now known as Fraser Highway. Back then, they did not have the extensive highways and transit we use today so, it would take most of the day to go from Vancouver to Chilliwack. Known then as Langley Prairie, the Hilltop was conveniently a “half way mark”. Built to service the motel on the same property, people could stop at the diner for dinner and secure a room for the night, continuing their journey the next day. Times have changed, the motel is gone and Fraser Highway is no longer the only route of travel through the Lower Mainland, but the Hilltop Diner Café is still here and we are still making the amazing diner fare you have come to love.
