This company was started by Cory Brewer in February 2016. Previously Cory had grown up over the years pushing his lawn mower and edger around Norgate (his neighborhood in North Van) mowing lawns and pulling lawns for neighbors. Sometimes he would even put ladders on his roof of his small car, or put the lawn mower in the trunk as needed. He was fortunate enough to get a lawn mower and edger given to him by his first boss, Bruce.

He was also trained how to put in lawns to a very high level by a local landscape legend Stanley. In the first year after university when he founded Great Lawns, he had only a couple employees and one truck. Fast forward until today and Great Lawns & Beyond ltd, is one of the premier landscaping companies in North Vancouver, with 35 full time staff, two warehouses, 19 trucks, and provide full service to their customers year-round.

GLB now has a very successful Hardscaping (Design/build) department, 10 maintenance crews (Gardening/Trimming/Mowing etc) a Snow & Ice Management division, and services residential, commercial and strata clients. We are a medium size company with small company customer service and values. The company’s reputation is built on its commitment to the timely execution of quality work.
