SitkaWest

SitkaWest was founded on the belief that we could set ourselves apart from competitors through an unwavering commitment to high-quality results, project schedules, and budgets while prioritizing our employees’ health, safety and career growth.  

Started in 2016 by our president Jamie Kossowan, SitkaWest was the natural next step for Jamie. The son of a seasoned site superintendent, he grew up close to construction sites and developed an inherent understanding of the industry.

Though Jamie attended Simon Fraser University to study business administration, he was drawn back to construction and completed his Red Seal in Carpentry. By his mid-20s, he managed construction sites and actively pursued skills growth, ultimately achieving the coveted Professional Gold Seal as a Superintendent and starting SitkaWest.
