A native to the farmlands of southwest Saskatchewan. He spent much of his childhood on the family farm, where he experienced the difference between the food grown on the farm and that bought in town at the local supermarket or butcher. After graduating from high school Wade took his professional cooking training at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and completed his Red Seal Certification. Following several years under Chef Restituto Mendoza at Heritage Pointe Golf & C.C., he went on to work at the Coast Plaza Hotel and the Calgary Winter Club. Then it was out to Vancouver for Monk Mc Queen’s, Shaughnessy Golf & C.C. and the University Golf Course. Chef Siever was most recently the Executive Chef at the Grapevine Restaurant in Lake Country.
