Valhalla Inn

Valhalla, according to Norse mythology was a magnificent palace, roofed with shields wherein dwelled the bravest of slain Norse warriors. There, under the leadership of the god, Odin, they lived a happy life waiting for the day when they would be rallied to march out and do battle against the giants. To reach Valhalla was the greatest honour a Norse warrior could attain. Valkyries, maidens who served Odin, travelled to the battlefields to choose the slain who were worthy of a place in Valhalla
