Adrienne Levy is a filmmaker whose love for acting lead her into a career as an award-winning director. Inspired by stories of freedom and justice, Levy is motivated to make films highlighting individual struggles that shed light on important world issues. Her film, A Lifetime Later, won Best Short at Anthem Freedom Festival and the IPAS Film Festival in Greece and gained special recognition at the Camerimage Film Festival as a part of their Talent Demo program. Levy’s most recent film success, the experimental short, Female Connection, has been accepted into six LGBTQ film festivals around the world including the Palm Springs LGBT short festival, the Barcelona Film Festival, and the Outflix Film Festival. Levy showcased her comedy talent directing The Openers, which won Best Short at Cannes short film corner and The Broad Humor festival. Chicago Comedy Festival called it “hilariously charming”. In the music video world, Levy is known for her collaborations with “Prince’s Protege” Andy Allo, Verite, Still a Great Night and Lost Boy Crow. After graduating from NYU: Tisch School of the Arts, Levy moved to LA and studied acting and filmmaking with talented mentors such as David Mamet, writer Bill Marsilli, cinematographer Alan Caso (ASC), and director Jaime Reynoso.
