An enthusiastic and passionate bartender looking for a larger role at an established restaurant/bar. My dedication in providing a memorable and noteworthy guest experience is complemented by my desire to become a renowned bartender. Through my education and managerial experience, I have become accustomed to thriving in pressure situations, which has easily transferred to hospitality. I quickly worked my way up from a support position to a key server to a confident and efficient bartender, earning all my opportunities along the way. I believe in a team environment, as a bartender’s job is not only to make drinks, but to help wherever needed for a smooth service. My attention to detail and constant desire to improve will make me a fine addition to any establishment hoping to consistently execute outstanding service. Growing up in Vancouver, I have always been interested in the restaurant and hospitality industry, with an emphasis on local independent restaurants and bars. Over the last couple of years, I decided to take a chance on this passion and join the industry as a bartender. Since then I have excelled at all positions, from support staff to server and now main bartender. I was able to apply my previous managerial experience to ensure guests are always pleased, resulting in returning clientele. Through a tireless work ethic and determination, I have re-created classic cocktails for guests, while also offering signature drinks with an emphasis on house-made syrups and recipes. My passion for cocktails does not end at work, as I'm always experimenting with recipes and liquors at home, continuously learning from books and videos. I'm always looking to help my team wherever I can and thrive in pressure situations which will make me an excellent addition to any restaurant/bar.
