Responsibilities included site management and content coordination for reuters.com and reuters.co.uk websites while working closely with Reuters' main editorial services in deciding what the top stories will be on everything from politics and policy, business, markets, sport, technology, entertainment and lifestyle. Between 2004-2012, wrote extensively on issues that have been news makers in the state of West Bengal in India and went on to manage a group of dedicated city and outstation reporters at The Statesman newspaper in Kolkata as Chief Reporter. Shaped the 60-Day coverage of the crucial West Bengal Assembly Poll in 2011 for The Statesman.
