I, Ankita Mondal, Textile Designer passed with B.Des. Degree with the badge of Batch Topper from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal in 2021. I am a creative, motivated and multi-faceted with a keen eye for detail and a huge passion for working with fabric materials, colors, textures and patterns. I have always been interested in assembling wasted or left out materials into a useful garments and usable accessories in a sustainable manner. I would love to add my creative approach as a contribution to this ever-growing industry and make a real difference. I am familiar with the concept of visual and cultural studies that helps to develop taste and understanding of various art and culture practices. course studies helped me develop the idea of appearance an aesthetics. I have worked on the systematic approach of the problem solving process while taking economic, environmental and political issues in consideration. I learnt to sensitize and understand the social cultural economical and physical environment in order to widen the perception about Indian village environment. Understanding the language of the design in different material according to the material property have been a very crucial learning for the selecting appropriate material for more dimensions to a product. I have learned the overview of how a project relates to the design process, material science, production process, agronomic in a optimized method.
