I have spent the last ten years working in the service industry, doing everything from serving to managing. My biggest passion and what drives me the most is people. I love being able to give someone an incredible experience and pride myself on my ability to create genuine and long lasting connections. My outgoing and bubbly personality makes me an ideal candidate for this position, and it’s something I believe I will excel at. I started out bartending in Tokyo when I was 20 years old. I fell in love with the people and the atmosphere, and from there I knew I belonged in the service industry. I moved back to Canada, and quickly picked up a job at Earls where I worked for over six years. I started out serving, but quickly moved to bartending, and from there onto leadership roles. My organizational skills and attention to detail was a huge asset, but where I really stood out was with my relationships with guests. Becoming a “fan favourite”, I was known to have a full bar when the rest of the restaurant was empty. Over my years working there, I created a following by being genuine and engaging with my guests, making each of them feel special and want to return. By the end of my time there, I was dubbed the “Queen of the Regulars”, which is something I always took great pride in. In addition to my people skills, I am a very hard worker. I have had two jobs for most of my life, and am quite ambitious, so long hours are something I’m very familiar with. If I have a goal in mind, I am determined to achieve it and will work relentlessly. I’ve never been afraid of a little elbow grease! I’d love the opportunity to show you what I can do.
