All of my work has involved successful written communication—in magazine writing, book publishing and public relations. Being able to write clearly supports and advances a person in any field, in any era. As a writing tutor, I can help less-experienced writers make their work more focused, cohesive and interesting. Specialties: Tutoring for clear and effective writing, especially if it has a personal component (like a college-application essay). Content editing (keeping ideas cohesive) and copyediting (keeping prose clear) Writing feature articles, with special focus on the emotional resonance found in complex medical situations.
