After heading his television production company in the Netherlands, which mainly produced reality formats and documentaries for Dutch National Televison, Helmut moved to Los Angeles where his feature film ‘Two Brothers and A Bride’ had entered the Sundance Filmfestival. Helmut Co-Produced and Directed this film. In Los Angeles his company maintained active in film and television, won awards, but has recently shifted it’s focus towards the OTT market. It produces mainly branded content and explores new verticals. Helmut’s tries to create a creative symbiosis between corporations and non-profits. He now lives both in the US as in The Netherlands. Helmut’s portfolio includes work for Reuters, CNN, BBC, TLC, Discovery Channel, ABC, CBS, HBO, UCLA, Vera Bradley, Dillard's, UGG's, Michael Kors and many more.
