Born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. Howard attended Emerson College in Boston, MA. While in Boston, Howard created and formed several Production companies, Tippy Productions, specialized in corporate and special events video production and Pentangle Productions, specialized in commercial broadcast marketing. Clients included Fidelity Investments, Honeywell and The City of Boston. “California here I come”… Howard arrived in Los Angeles in 1987 and went from managing a Haagen Dazs ice cream shop in Beverly Hills to being discovered by legendary producers David Wolper and Andrew Solt which lead to working on Warner Brothers’ Film “Imagine: John Lennon” After Warner Bros, Howard was hired by Walt Disney Television’s post production department as a Post Production Supervisor/ Associate Producer working on a Prime Time NBC Series “Hull High” with Director Kenny Ortega as well as multiple Disney Specials. “On a Mission with the Mormons” Howard went to work on location in Utah with 70’s singing sensation Jimmy Osmond and LBS communications. Their project entitled “It’s Nearly wasn’t Christmas” included months of pre production, editing and post production work. Next, Howard signed on as Staff Studio Trailer Editor for Walt Disney/Touchstone and Hollywood Pictures. Laboring over Hundreds of movie trailer campaigns, TV Spots, music videos, special teasers such as “The Lion King”, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, “Toy Story”, and the list goes on and on. In 1995, Howard connected forces with marketing and advertising executive Ted Eccles to creative on-air marketing campaigns for top network and cable companies. Howard prides himself in areas of expertise that include budgeting, scheduling, writing, editing, Internet and web design and most importantly “Making executives look good”.
