After my drink was drugged, I made a YouTube video that inspired a change in state law. I was driven to speak up not only for myself but also for the survivors who contacted me following my initial Facebook post. A year and a half after telling my story through media appearances and speeches, the legal loophole I discovered was finally closed. Using an unexpected approach in storytelling is a skill that comes naturally to me. Nowadays, I mostly use my storytelling skills in social media posts or video projects– which are a personal favorite of mine. My vision for the short-term future is to use my marketing, writing, and social media management skills at a company that values tenacity and creativity.
