About Me

I’m a person. Blood running through my veins, thoughts through my mind. To top it off, I’m a creative person, gypsy to many, wonderer, as out of the box as they come. Not because of gimmick just made that way. I’ve been chasing dreams for sixteen years almost seventeen by now. When I first started out, I thought my unique background and perspective would be seen as a fresh take on creative. I’ve taken risks throughout my career and have lost many battles, more than I like to admit. No matter how big the plunge to the bottom of the barrel, here I stand. Ready to take on the next challenge that comes creeping its way back to test my will once again. And like many times before, I prevail and continue to pay for the price of wisdom I value. I’m not loud, I don’t repeat phrases and terms “thought leaders” feed to the masses, I don’t follow the rules. I look for challenges and look at them as another opportunity to grow. Professionally, I’ve been denied plenty, sometimes it’s because of lack of college education, sometimes because I’m not good at selling myself, many times just because I don’t kiss ass the right way. I just don’t have that kind of make, I’m straight up about things, I don’t like mind games, the 48 laws of power, maneuvers to obliterate my enemies. I believe in kindness, mindfulness, and seeing people’s differences as an opportunity to gain perspective. I detest ego trips, micro managers, and “collaboration” without a team perspective. I give credit where credit is due and don’t like it when people take other people’s credit or effort. I write, I direct, and I edit, I’ve learned that instead of that being a good thing, it “confuses people”. Unless multi-talent is a “thing” then and only then, it works out. I freelance, I own two companies; one production and one post-production. I work with people from all walks of life, I love to talk to people. When I approach people on a professional level, I have clear perspective and objective that’s mutually beneficial. When I don’t know someone on LinkedIn, I send them a message. If I do, I send them a message. I’m not on this platform to be the most followed or to gather “connections”, I don’t care to be liked or adored. I’m here to work, collaborate, and provide creative. I can sit here and sell you my work but it sells itself and if you need convincing, keep it moving. All I can say is that when it comes down to it and it’s time for me to do what I love to do, I do it with all my passion and dedication. Thank you for stopping by. www.BodegaMachete.com
