I am a part 2 architect, researcher and artist. How I see myself as a designer, is kind. Design is empathetic and that makes design have a meaningful impact on peoples lives. Everything else follows. Over 3 years (2016-2018) I have done small, medium and large residential buildings as well as medium multifunctional buildings, and this grounds my practical architectural skills. But as I continue to grow I've begun to expand and define my practice. As a designer, my interests lie in the implications of space, data and human organisation and how it influences culture. This, as a result, gave a vested interest in game engines VR/AR in thinking about space beyond the bounds of reality. This makes me well suited to tackle an array of design challenges beyond what is expected because the reason/narrative gives meaning to the outcome. I believe that my experience in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of the global south politics both in architecture and art makes me an ideal candidate to contribute in an array of projects, organisations and institutions that produce buildings, products and knowledge.
