My name is Michael Paul Escañuelas. I am an Emmy nominated storyteller using the art of design, animation, and music. I have been working professionally as both an in-house designer and a freelancer since 2011. I have worked in both digital design, creating motion graphics and social content, as well as print design doing layout and print advertising (Long live print!). I came out of school as a journalist, but my passion for art called me to a life of design. I have worked in several varying industries including music, entertainment, and journalism. I also lend my voice to several podcasts, a few of which have been featured live at SXSW in Austin, Texas. I love coffee, a good book, and some lo-fi hip hop beats playing the background.
