I never dreamed of being a chef, actually I wanted to study law or politics. However it seems I was destined for something else. When I started cooking, I was fascinated by the creativity and diversity of kitchens in the Greater Vancouver Area. I was really lucky to have worked with some other amazing chefs, learning and developing my own exciting style of cooking along my journey of culinary amazement. I have dedicated a tremendous amount of time learning how to cook more than the simple small-town food I grew up on. My philosophy to cooking food is simple; local food. The diversity in ingredients and most importantly the concept of local sustainability play a heavy role in every dish that I create. My goal is to share my favorite home-style cooked Chinese dishes with you, and to share my passion and dedication to the cuisine. I want to tantalize your taste-buds with delicious comforting ingredients prepared in a modern and exciting new way!
