Hello, My name is Regina Pai(Wen Chun Pai). I am originally from Taiwan , but now is based in the US. Currently, I have completed my degree in Textile Design at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Over the course of my studies at FIDM, I’ve developed my proficiency in Photoshop / Illustrator skills , and received recognition for my ability to design patterns. Preceding the decision to become a professional textile designer, I had been working as a Assistant Textile designer while in College at a Textile mill. While there, I learnt to create designs for customer request, provide colorways for custom work, and develop CAD concepts to Textile director. I like to experience new cultures through travel and reading. Such opportunities inspire my creations as a designer who is ready to venture into various cultures and to fuse them into my designs. My inspirations include animals, Color and simplicity. I also love illustration, geometric shapes – anything bright and bold.
