Sarah Davis is a documentary filmmaker with a passion for cinematography and directing. Storytelling matters most to her as she believes that using film to share the powerful stories of individuals around the world has the potential to make lasting change. Through film, Sarah has pursued her passion for travel by shooting in Ethiopia, Ghana, England, and Spain. Sarah was an editor and cinematographer for Sankofa (2018), a Student Academy Award winning documentary short. She also directed Carrying Tomorrow (2019), a documentary short currently in the film festival circuit. In addition to documentary filmmaking, Sarah has worked on television and commercial projects as a production assistant and camera operator. She is a stills photographer and has experience in sports live production, social media, and asset management.
