My career has been a journey always centered on providing a service for users to access information. I started my career in libraries as they incorporate some of my passions: literature, technology and helping others. Everywhere I've gone, my role has been centered on providing access to the information and providing customer service to the organization's clients and colleagues to navigate the systems in place. In parallel, records management is foremost to the success of any organization to ensure standards on how information is acquired, classified, secured and retained. I thrive in organizations that rely on information governance principles. I enjoy contributing to improvements for the user experience to reduce the demand for service. In our modern century, we are now tasked with an abundance of electronic documents in various formats and we must meet the challenges of authentic records in an electronic environment. I enjoy putting data systems in place and following through with procedures to empower my organization to perform at a high efficiency to easily and securely access their information records.
