The Web Thing: Having completed BCIT intensive web design program, I am now using my new skills on small sites, particularly Wordpress. I'm doing some volunteer work, some barter and some revenue. Contact me if interested! The Food Thing: 18 months full time intensive culinary training, I love preparing food especially as a volunteer in underserved communities. And I take a catering job now and then. BC Advanced Food-Safety certification.A Tourism Thing: As of April 2013, I'm volunteering with Tourism Vancouver as a "Visitor Experience Specialist". They're a great group and it allows me to be much more connected both with my city and its vast set of attractions. The Geek Thing: Digital Equipment seemingly from Boyhood, followed by rapid aging at Cascade Communications -> Ascend Communications -> Lucent, and a stint at Astral Point. What a ride!At some juncture I stopped fixing (and occasionally implementing) technology, to talking about fixing and implementing technology to my companies' customers and prospects, and traveling extensively. I've never recovered from that buzz. While I stopped working full time, I'm active in Volunteering and recently completed an intensive curriculum in Technical Web Design.Specialties: Telecomm Technical Presales; International/Asia Specialist; HTML5/CSS3, Javascript/jQuery; WordPress.
