I am a content director, award-winning journalist, and creative strategist. I have more than 10 years of experience in content and editorial strategy, brand building, digital programming, cross-platform publishing, story generation and development, talent/celebrity relations, social media programming and creative team leadership. Currently, I'm an Editorial Director at the San Francisco-based creative and design firm Godfrey Dadich Partners. I have a proven track record of achieving brand growth by ideating and executing long- and short-term content strategies. Experience includes developing new audiences; increasing digital engagement; forging powerful relationships with notable talent and public figures; creating cohesion between video, editorial, art and photo teams; supporting new revenue streams with scalable initiatives; securing brand partnerships; and programming experiential marketing. My work leading Playboy's editorial arm from 2017 to 2019 routinely garnered the company billions of media impressions, substantial earned media and growth across social audiences. I have extensive experience in managing impactful editorial programs across platforms, specifically leading print, video and digital teams to execute on annual, quarterly, monthly or daily calendars. I have spearheaded both digital and print product redesigns as well as managed website relaunches, developed editorial franchises, and programmed digital-first campaigns. In 2020, Playboy received its first-ever GLAAD Media Award nomination for its increased representation of LGBTQ people under my leadership. In 2018, the same year I launched Playboy's first-ever LGBT news vertical, the British LGBT Awards honored the company for its renewed commitment to the LGBTQ community. In 2017, I was named a Rising Star and a 30 Under 30 for my work reimagining Playboy's sex and politics coverage. In 2016, I won an Eddie Award for Best Article in a Men's Lifestyle Magazine for editing the feature "My Deportation," published in the March 2016 issue of Playboy. After some 12 years in publishing, I joined The Trevor Project in 2019, where I developed and managed long-term strategic partnerships with global brands like PUMA, TikTok, YouTube, WarnerMedia, Netflix, Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, iHeartMedia, and more. In less than two years I raised more than $3.5 million in corporate fundraising for the nonprofit, including from new partnerships with the NFL, Journey's, PepsiCo, Jimmy Choo, Amazon Studios, and more.
