About Me

I'm originally from Chicago and I always had a passion for video games. I graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 2005 with a major in Arts & Communications. In 2010 I received my Bachelor Degree of Science in Game Art & Design from the Art Institute of California- Los Angeles. Now in my life, I can be part of the magic of creating next-gen games. As an 3D Artist/Programmer for games, I must have standard art & tech skills. My responsibilities include the use of 3D packages; such as Maya and similar commercial and proprietary software to create high-quality 3D art assets that fulfill the requirements of the project's functional, art and technical specifications. Experience in real-time 3D modeling and lighting using Maya or 3D Studio Max, as demonstrated in my strong portfolio. Plus I must know how to import 3D meshes into game engines such as UDK, Unity, Cryengine, and etc. On top of that I have to be familiar with programming languages such as MEL, Python, C++, and C#. Which is also vital for understanding game development , algorithms, and data structures. ~ SPECIALTIES ~ • Look/Shader Development • Lighting Design and Composition • Environment/Prop Modeling • Object Animation/Simulation • CG Compositing • Game Visual Effects (VFXs) • Architectural Visualization • Character & Environment Concept Development • Game Programming (C++,C#) • MEL (Maya Embedded Language) Scripting/Programming • Digital Asset Management • QA Game Testing ~PROFICIENT IN THE FOLLOWING~ • Qt 3D Studio • Qt Designer • Maya • 3Ds Max • Mudbox • Cinema 4D • Kanzi • Blender • AutoCAD • Form-Z (AutoDesSys) • Substance Designer • Substance Painter • Zbrush • Adobe Photoshop • Crazy Bump • xNormal • UT3 Editor/UDK (Unreal Development Kit) • Unity3D Game Engine • PlayCanvas (WebGL Game Engine) • CryEngine • Perforce • DevTrack/TestTrack ~ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES~ • VR • AR (Augmented Reality) • MR (Mixed Reality) • XR (Extended Reality) • Computer-Generated VR (CG VR) • 360° video • 3D Massive UV/Digital Printing
