Since I was a young child, I have had a love for numbers and analyzing them. Solving puzzles and playing Candy crush was the order of the day. So there are no mysteries or scientific reasons as to why my chosen career was to be an Accountant. Helping companies to make and finance their money is my passion. I’m a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with over four years of accounting experience, dedicated to helping my company grow by reducing cost and making profits. Previously, because of my creative input and innovative spirit, I was able to reduce the time spent on completing the company’s General Consumption Tax Reconciliation due for filing to revenue authorities each month. This process resulted in the company experiencing a time savings of approximately two days per month. In one go I was able to reduce cost by not only allowing the company to reallocate time saved to another important task but also to save money on numerous penalties paid as a result of late filing. Outside of work, I serve on the Langara College tax committee, where I volunteer my services as a tax professional helping persons within the community and its environs to file their taxes and give valuable advice where possible.
