I started my career as a registered nurse in China. I was very fortunate to be the only student in my class who was selected by the school principal to have the privilege to work in one of the top hospitals in Guangzhou, China. At the time I graduated, one must be honored as a top student or have connections, in order to be employed at that hospital. While I enjoyed my time as a nurse, I was more interested in computers and technology. Thankfully I had the opportunity to change my career to become a software developer when I came to US. I love to learn. When I was 7 years old, I would wake up every morning while it was still dark outside to sit on the front porch of my home and wait for school to start. Becoming a software developer has really fulfilled my desire to gain more knowledge because it requires constant learning and polishing of my skills.
