Nafees Chaudhry is the founder of CNC. After completing his Bachelor’s of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance in 1997, Nafees joined Vancity Savings Credit Union, where he worked at the head office for a few years, before moving to Ethical Mutual Funds, joining the mutual fund valuation accounting team. At Ethical Mutual Funds, Nafees designed their North American RRSP Clone Equity Fund’s daily valuation financial model. Prior to this, he received his first accounting designation, Certified General Accountant and a few years later his second designation, Certified Management Accountant. Nafees also completed the Canadian Investment Security Course , received an Associate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning (BCIT with Hons) and the CGA Tax in-depth certification. As well in 2003 he received Coast Capital’s Savings’ Small Savings Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
