Position Overview
As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be an essential part of our leadership team, overseeing daily operations of the Front Desk, concierge services, and guest relations. You will work closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure smooth operation and service excellence across all guest touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, be highly customer-service oriented, and possess extensive experience with Tock and Opera Cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Front Office Manager in the supervision and training of the Front Desk, concierge, and guest services team to ensure top-tier guest satisfaction.
- Manage daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and in alignment with hotel standards.
- Utilize Opera Cloud to oversee reservations, check-ins/outs, and guest profiles, ensuring accurate and seamless handling of all guest interactions.
- Leverage Tock to coordinate guest reservations and ensure that all dining experiences meet the hotel's luxury standards.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, always maintaining a focus on providing exceptional service.
- Ensure that all front office team members adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to room occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback to drive operational improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, Sales, Food & Beverage, etc.) ensuring smooth communication and coordination for guest satisfaction.
- Act as a key contact for VIP guests, overseeing their personalized experience from arrival to departure.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the Front Office at a luxury hotel.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Tock is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional guest service skills and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
- Knowledge of hotel accounting, revenue management, and reporting is an asset.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or have an active working visa.
