Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Educate customers about different cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately process transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain an organized inventory of products and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Assist in managing customer files and data entry using Excel and other computerized systems.
• Ensure compliance regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization within the store to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID Selling it Right
• MUST BE 19+
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Basic math skills to assist with transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or retail, particularly within a legal cannabis retail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

• Customer service: 2 years (required)
• Cannabis Retail: 2 years (required)
• Cannabis: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Selling It Right Certification (required)
