Job Summary
We’re looking for a highly creative and versatile Digital Content Creator to join our growing team in Vancouver. Our ideal candidate is a natural storyteller who will be responsible for formulating, creating, calendaring and publishing engaging material across various social media platforms for multiple natural health brands. Working with a team of professional educators and designers, you will transform ideas into compelling and informative content for a wide audience. You are passionate about content creation and up-to-date on the latest technologies, trends and tools. You also have a solid understanding of what makes a brand successful on social media. This role requires creativity, a high degree of organization and technical skills including video shooting and editing. Understanding of how to decode performance analytics would be a great asset. If you are a creative who wants to inspire and educate people about being healthier, this is the role for you. This hybrid role will report to the Education Manager.

Critical Success Factors/Outcomes
· Content Creation – develop engaging videos, and concepts for images and infographics that effectively convey information and increase engagement rates.
· Community Engagement – communicate with fans, ensuring that questions and comments are answered, and participate in discussions when appropriate;
· Calendar Management – manage and execute content calendars, and collaborate with Education and Brand teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with brand goals. Maintain a timely and consistent posting cadence across platforms for multiple accounts.
· Collaborations – communicate with and coach influencers, educators and other content creators to supplement content creation and expand our online reach.
· User-Generated Content – Encourage followers to share their natural health journeys and incorporate this content into our platforms when appropriate.
· Research and Trend-Watching – conduct research to stay on top of current trends, developments and perceptions of the natural health industry. Present findings on a regular basis.
· Analytics and Reporting – analyze social media performance metrics, report on same and adjust strategies based on data insights.
Competencies:
· Extensive experience with iPhone photography and videography and all aspects of video editing.
· A high degree of social media fluency with proficiency in management and analytics tools.
· A creative and analytical mind.
· Experience collaborating with other professionals including educators and graphic designers.
· Comfortable working in a dynamic and diverse hybrid environment.
· Highly organized and able to manage several projects at various stages of completion.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated learner who loves to do the research.
· Adaptable and excellent at problem-solving.
· Understands the relationship between SEO and social media.
· 3+ years experience growing social media for brands preferred.
Nice to Have
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps
· Experience with project management software an asset (Clickup, Asana, Workfront)
· Knowledge of the natural health and/or natural beauty industries
