Description
We are seeking a dynamic and organized educational consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the daily operations of our organization. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Office Coordination: Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient office environment, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and handling incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
Communication: Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Draft and proofread various documents, including emails, reports, and memos.
Scheduling: Manage calendars and schedules for team members, including arranging appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, and other tracking systems. Assist in generating reports and analyzing data when required.
Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering basic inquiries, and assisting with scheduling appointments.
Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documents. Help organize and maintain files and records, both electronically and physically.
Project Support: Assist various departments with project-related tasks, such as research, data collection, and coordination.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to support the overall functioning of the organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while adhering to deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic office management practices.
Requirement:
- Class 5 drivers license
- Work in our White Rock and Vancouver office location on weekdays 5-9PM
