Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:
Join our team at The Sylvia Hotel Vancouver as a Front Desk Agent and be part of a designated heritage building located on English Bay, beside Stanley Park. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional hospitality and customer service to our guests. Your friendly demeanor and professionalism will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests, whether they are business travelers, families on vacation, or couples seeking a romantic getaway.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate information is maintained in the hotel's system.
- Operate phone systems with proper etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Assist guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to present a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Skills:
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is required.
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset to cater to our diverse clientele.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems.
- Knowledge of hotel procedures and protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
