Interior Designer

Description

We are looking for a full-time interior designer at our office /showroom in North Vancouver.
Life Space Interior Design works with Vancouver Sauna and Timeless Wine Cellars to create high-end custom projects. We are looking for a designer who needs minimal training and can use their creativity and familiarity with interior design trends and construction principles to provide the best ideas for clients.
Qualities, skills, and background you bring:
**- Functional knowledge of standard computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite -Experience with Sketchup is an asset
-Completion of post-secondary education in interior design
- Be part of a design team for concept, documentation, and contract administration **-Documentation of design by drawing and specification writing
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication with clients
- Be highly organized with an ability to focus on attention to detail
-Excellent time management skills
-Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert quality, and polite communication
-Follows office protocol and procedures and established procedures
-Strong technical knowledge of construction principles
-Works closely with the Associates for constant team communication
Salary: $20-$25 per hour with an excellent benefits package
Additional pay: -Bonus pay -Overtime pay
Schedule:
-Monday to Thursday
Experience:
-Sketchup: 2 years (required)
- Photoshop
***Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, and Photoshop
