Description
Tech Bench Services is recognized as an industry leader in IT Managed Services, Cloud Hosting and IT Project Consulting in Surrey and the Lower Mainland.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining our Asterix Servers that our VOIP services rely on. Updates, monitoring logs, troubleshooting, assisting with new accounts, etc.
· Responsible for maintaining Virtual Cloud infrastructure on Windows HyperV. Setup new VM's, customizing as per client requests, failover and redundancy setup and troubleshooting.
· Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
· Configuring and maintaining Fortinet/Cisco Routers, including VLANS, VPN, AD Integration and Security Tightening
· Network and Fiber Installation/Troubleshooting/Optimization for existing and new projects.
· Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes, and setting up private cloud for clients.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
· Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
· Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
· Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
· Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
· day-to-day management of large, technically complex, and demanding client accounts, developing and executing upon an overarching technical support strategy, detailed issue tracking, root cause issue recognition and resolution.
· Dealing with customers directly and helping them remotely or on site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $3,500.00 per month

Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience: Relevant Experience Required in the field.
System administration: 5 years (required)
