Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant
Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic full-service law firm based in downtown Vancouver, with offices in West Vancouver and Surrey. Our Vancouver office is conveniently located near the Burrard Skytrain station and a wide range of shops and services. We offer challenging and rewarding opportunities in a professional and collegial environment.
We are currently seeking a Litigation LAA to join our Vancouver office.
The Ideal Candidate

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as a team member

- Must be able to work well under pressure
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organization and management of files, paper based and electronically.
- Drafting correspondence and court documents
- Communicating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, etc.
- Opening and closing files
- Client invoicing and billing
- Management of lawyers’ calendars, bring forward system, meetings, and appointments.
- General administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ LAA experience in a law firm.
- Graduate of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of work.
- Knowledge of Elite and Worldox an asset

Salary range for this position: $55,000 – 65,000 annually
